Too much on the brain!

Well I read about another photographer Saadia MeChel (http://www.saadiamechel.com/blog/2010/04/) and she started a 101 in 1001 days list. I am so thankful for her blog because she gets me thinking many times doing the same things that she is doing. I hope she isn't offended but flattered by my following ;-) As a mother tasks do very well for me and while I am going to start my 101 in 1001 days list and plan to finish it today it may need to be revised. So that is one thing she also inspired me to take a photograph everyday for 365 well she did and another photographer Skye Hardwick (http://www.soulographer.com/about-me/). Her Workshop Workbook has aided in my business makeover.
So I have 101 in 1001 days, 365 days of photos, and a revised sketch business plan. I think this year is already looking promising and busy. I graduate with one of the most promising projects The New Family Portrait and a new portfolio. I also have a few new campaigns that I will put into place. Financial Peace university, P90x, and 365 days of Power. Getting Dakotah and Luka on their learning track with Muzzy, Your Baby Can Read, Baby Signing Time, Letters and Numbers to start. Is your head spinning yet cause mine is! The picture is what I carry in my purse, backpack, car everyday (at least for the past three months and for the next 12weeks at least for some of it)

Photo Clean Up?
Organize Your Holiday Photos
Regardless of which holiday you celebrate, there will likely be lots of photos taken! We all seem to have dozens (or hundreds) of family photos. But sadly, photographs, like other mementos, can be overwhelming. The holidays are a great time to get your photos organized for the next year, while everyone is home and gathered together, you can make it a family project, reliving the memories while you sort and file!
- Get rid of blurry, out of focus photos. Pick the best and get rid of the rest! There's no need to keep several copies of the exact same subject matter. Send some of those extra's to family and friends, and throw away the rest.
- Write the month and year on the back of each photo, and the names of everyone in the picture. Even though you think you will remember, itÃs a great fall-back!
- Categorize your photos. This can be done by season (Fall 2004), or by topic (Holidays 2003) (Vacations).
- Have a specific place to keep photos. Invest in an archival-quality photo box - one that is acid-free and lignin-free. These are sold at scrapbooking stores, craft and hobby shops, or online at exposures.com
- Store all photos in a cool, dry place - not the basement, attic, or garage.
- Scrapbooking is the ultimate act of love for family photos, but if it is too time consuming (or expensive) for you, try displaying photos under tabletop glass, or in frames.
- Last but not least, place only your favorite photos into albums.
After clearing out the "clutter photos," you'll look and feel thinner (or at least your photo collection will)!

Family Craft: Year-in-Review Garland
It's the end of the year, and your refrigerator is crammed with pictures, from decorating eggs to trick-or-treating. While you need to make some room for the upcoming year, it is so hard to take down those beloved pictures and put them away! Instead of putting them away, use them to create a decorative memento for the year!
Gather photos from throughout the year, and cut them into uniform circles or stars. Glue to a decorative paper base, and punch a hole at the top. Finally, thread pictures along a sparkly wire garland. For a representation of the year, make sure to add dates, places, names, and ages! This garland will tell the yearly story of your family, and is a great way to decorate your tree, wreath, mantle or doorway for the holidays!

I realized I had taken a photograph everyday since the 1st and on the third day read two blog postings about 365 and thought that is a good ideal. For me it is another way of tracking what me and my family are doing and I can see if I am staying on track and motivated so her we go at a backlog of the first three days!

New Years!
Hello Again,
It's a New Year and a New day. Many people may want to know what we have been up to and it's pretty simple....Living! lol The last two months of 2010 were very trying for us as we weren't at home much with work and being sick. As we look at how we want to come into the new year we want to be healthy and happy. I want to apologize for my lack of interaction with everybody I have realized I don't like being sick and really don't want to make anybody else sick. The other thing that I realized is that I don't like to keep to many people around because I am flesh and flesh is influenced by flesh. I don't like drama, stress, and really don't have a lot of time so I will say sorry now for the time to come.
As we go into the new year I wanted to let people know about how we do everything we do in life. My financial planner is Dave Ramsey and Financial Peace University. If you haven't heard of him you may want to google or listen to one of his radio shows. We are currently on a journey to become debt free and to get there we are living like no one else so we can live like no one else! My life coach is GOD! I will be putting my all into reading my bible so I can learn about who he is and in turn learn who I am or better yet learn who he wants be to be. And Lastly my personal trainer is Tony Horton! I have been working P90x off and on for three years now. People always ask me how I like it and I love it! My only advise is make sure you have a recovery drink!
I am so thankful for P90x because it has motivated me to take total control of my fitness and health. We recently just jumped on board with the Bodybuilding.com $100,000 Challenge. If you want to make a change in you health take a look and again Happy New Year!

For many that don't know we have gotten to be a very fitness and health aware family. My daughter Dakotah is a huge follower of what we do and that is in everything we do including the fitness. These are her before photos. She had to take them just like mommy and daddy.
